Spring 2009 Park Newspaper

The spring 2009 version of the park newspaper, The Teewinot is now available. It has a lot of good general information for spring visitors, including road construction. Spring is always one of my favorite times to visit the park.

Fall 2008 Park Newspaper

Check out the Fall 2008 version of the Teewinot newspaper. It has some a couple of good seasonal articles on the elk migration and bear hibernation. It's worth the read.

Pilgrim Creek Grizzly Fence

Here's an interesting article from a local paper describing the use of an experimental style of electric fence to deter grizzlies in the Teton Wilderness. This is described as being used at an outfitters camp in the Pilgrim Creek Area northeast of the park boundary.
